Sophie Zidar is a singer, dancer and actor who trained at ‘Launch Performing Arts Centre’ in Queensland, Australia under the direction of Michelle Hopper Doyle.

Sophie made her professional debut in 2022 in Ooh La La (Platfrom Creative Co) at the Pink Flamingo Spiegelclub, Gold Coast which was choreographed by Michelle Hopper Doyle & Michael Boyd.
Shortly afterwards Sophie made her musical theatre debut as an ensemble member and understudy to Marion, in Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Matt Ward Productions) choreographed by Trevor Ashley.

Sophie’s credits also include: the concert version of Singin’ In the Rain (Prospero Arts) directed and choreographed by Cameron Mitchell and the 2022 AHIA Awards directed by Adam Williams as well as 2020 AFL Grand Final half time show and the 2018 Commonwealth Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

Now based in Sydney, Sophie has recently completed Season 2 of esteemed Musical Theatre program, ‘TheatreBridge’ created and produced by Nathan M Wright and Andrew Bevis.
