Laura Garrick

Singer

Laura Garrick is a renewed singer with over eight years of professional experience. She holds a Bachelor of Musical Theatre, and currently takes singing lessons with Tim Moxey.

Some of Laura’s most prominent musical roles include Eponine in Les Miserables, directed by Geraldine Turner and Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street, directed by Thern Reynolds. Laura’s most recent highlight was playing the role of Lauren in Kinky Boots, directed by Jessica Fallico, for which she won the 2022 BroadwayWorld Award for ‘Best Supporting Performer In A Musical’. Laura has also toured Singapore and The Philippines as a Children’s Show Host, leading the shows Peppa Pig and Shopkins: Live On Stage.

Laura is an experienced corporate vocalist, performing in Miranda Musical Society’s Heritage Concert, the Ettingshausens PRO Graduation as a guest singer, and in an original concept corporate trio, the Bombshells. Laura has also had the honour of singing the Australian National Anthem for the Matilda’s vs USA soccer match (where she also performed the American National Anthem) and for the Diamonds vs England netball match at Qudos Bank Arena. Laura has most recently concluded her tour regional and interstate tour with Action Education, playing the role of Karla in Mentally Sound, which delivered crucial messages on mental health in a 50- minute rock show format.
