Matt Antonucci

Born in Sydney, Australia, Matt began dancing at eight years old. Growing up, he trained at multiple institutes including The Australian Ballet School, L’Ecole Ballet, GY Dance, The McDonald College and Ev&Bow. Matt’s versatility is evident in his extensive list of credits, as both a performer and creative, across a wide range of entertainment platforms.

As a performer, Matt’s professional theatre credits include West Side Story (International Tour), The Lion King (Australian Tour) and Cats The Musical (Asia Tour). Matt has also performed in The Australian Ballet’s The Nutcracker and multiple productions by Opera Australia including Aida, The Magic Flute and Madame Butterfly and has recently toured with Cirque Du Soleil’s Kooza, as a Soloist and Artistic Coach.

Matt has also worked with International Artists artists such as Pink, Rita Ora, Leona Lewis, Robbie Williams, Lewis Capaldi, Becky G, Akon, Charli XCX, Zara Larsson, Jessie J, Conrad Sewell, Ricki Lee and Sam Sparro.

His screen credits include The X Factor (UK & AUS), The X Factor Celebrity, Dancing With The Stars, The Voice, The Voice Kids, The Brit Awards, The MTV EMAs, The Masked Singer (France & AUS), Big Brother and The Celebrity Apprentice.

He has also worked as a dancer on films such as Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis and Dollhouse Pictures’ Seriously Red.

Matt’s other live performance credits include the Christian Louboutin PFW show by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Chiroptera by Damien Jalet & JR at the Paris Opera Garnier, The Islamic Solidarity Games Opening Ceremony in Azerbeijan, ZAG Studios Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug & Cat Noir Live in Motion Capture and Bunga Citra Lestari arena show in Jakarta. Matt has been involved in events for corporations such as Coca Cola, Sony Music, Samsung, BBC, Crown Casino, Magnum Ice Cream, ING, Yamaha, St George’s Bank, Macquarie Bank and Brickworks.

Matt has been an assistant choreographer on programmes such as Star Academy France, SYTYCD Australia, Dance Boss, Dance Academy and the follow-up feature film Dance Academy - The Comeback.

Matt also teaches masterclasses/workshops internationally and is currently based in London/Paris.
